Squids don't despawn, so he will always be waiting for me when I see him. YAYS!!!!!
On a side note, have squid spawns increased with 1.7? In just 10 minecraft days I now have a 64-stack of ink sacs and 7 more. Oh well. SQUIDDIES!!!!
IMHO squids are better than wolves. They're cuter. Ish. HE'S SO EPIC!!!
