If you have been living under a rock like me. You wouldn't have understood what moon was typing about the 1.8 so i went to my number one minecraft informers and they so happened to have some vids about the new version.
So this is the post for people who are too embarrassed to say [like me] that they have ignored Minecraft. Practicably betrayed it.
I have to go punish my self for my awful crime ageist nature so here are the vids!

And here's how you install it:
you replace the minecraft.jar in your bin folder found inside
the .minecraft folder which is accessed through type
%appdata% in the start search bar if you have windows 7.
otherwise i think you can just replace the folder directory, that bar in every folder screen.

Oh, and apparently you should wait for the actual release, not the pre-release, because it has less complications.
